Designed for CrossFitters of all levels — beginners to advanced — looking to safely build strength and proficiency in the power lifts and technically challenging Olympic lifts, Stronger Than Yesterday is your path to PRs (personal record).
During this 10-week focused program, you’ll see significant improvements in your form, technique and weight loads across multiple lifts including:
Don’t You Want to Be Stronger Than Yesterday?
Of course you do! Stronger Than Yesterday meets three times a week for 10 weeks, and is taught by a competitive Olympic lifter who recently qualified for the American Open as well as certified CrossFit Olympic trainer. During this short time, you’ll see improvements across the board.
Lift More Weight: You’ll learn how to be more efficient, proficient, faster, more powerful and aggressive with and under the bar. The end result, you’ll blow all your previous PRs out of the water.
Prevent Injury: By focusing on proper technique and form and by drilling movements, you’ll learn how to lift big weight without injuring yourself or adopting bad habits.
Get Stronger: And we’re not just talking about lifting more weight. You’ll get stronger is every activity you do — from carrying around your kids and groceries to dominating your weekend basketball games. These are functional lifts that translate into everyday life, and make you better at it.
Look Fantastic: All those heavy squats are going to wonders for your backside, back, arms, and legs. Contrary to popular belief, weightlifting will not make you bulky. It will, however, make you lean and toned, help you burn fat faster, strengthen your abs and core, and give you the butt you’ve always wanted.
CrossFit Better: You’ll be able to handle heavier weights with more efficiency and proficiency in your CrossFit workouts too. Which means you’ll see your performance and times improve dramatically. The extra strength training will also improve your power, speed and strength across a broad range of CrossFit movements from wall balls to box jumps to pull-ups and more.
Increased Confidence: No one walks taller or prouder than a weightlifter. Knowing that you can deadlift double your body weight, back squat more than your husband, clean & jerk a small vehicle, or snatch serious weight over your head will do more for your confidence than just about anything. Seriously.
What to Expect
STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY: STRENGTH SERIES
Stronger Than Yesterday strength classes meet three times a week for 10 consecutive weeks. Here’s how it breaks down:
- 1st week: We’ll test your lifts to establish a baseline and see where you’re at.
- Weeks 2-9: We’ll train the lifts, focusing on form and technique, drilling the movements, working on dynamic power, and progressively working up toward heavier weights based on your ability, experience and fitness level.
- Week 10: Final test week. Now we see how much stronger and better you’ve gotten across all the lifts we’ve trained for. PR city, baby!
